This is part 2 of a 20 minute review. This part is linked as a reponse to part 1. Part 1 includes: - still shots of device and remote - regular device startup - quick device startup - device shut down - overview of main navigation - web page navigation - Hulu blockade - Netflix app Part 2 includes: - Pandora app - quick search using the magnifying glass button - quick search for video - quick search for music - YouTube leanback - play a DVD - play video and music on USB flash drive Note: I do not have cable TV, satellite (eg, Dish network), or a DVR. I only use Google TV for online content, physical discs, and local media files. I made this review about 24 hours after receiving the Google TV set top box. The Sony model number is NSZ-GT1. The review is long (20 mins) because I go through each of the operations that were important to me. I shot video of my TV while using the Sony Internet TV. There are also a few still shots of the device and remote. Hopefully this overview will help you make a purchase decision. I complete love this Sony device and the Google TV application / OS. I paid for the device with my own money. The reason I leaned toward the Sony ($399) rather than the Logitech Revue ($299) is for a couple reasons: (a) I don't have a blu-ray player, so for $100 I get a blu-ray player, (b) I wanted a small remote, not a keyboard (the Logitech comes with a small keyboard, and you pay $129 for a small remote), (c) I've had great past experiences with Sony products ...

Sony Vaio E Series Review - Part 1
Here's my sony vaio e series laptop. The specs: Intel Core i3 350M 2.26 GHz 4GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit ATI Mobility Radeon 5650 1GB 500 GB (5400 rpm) 15.5" Full HD 1080p Full island-style keyboard with number pad Windows Experience Index: Processor : 6.3 RAM : 5.9 Graphics : 6.7 Gaming Graphics : 6.7 Primary Hard Disk : 5.8 The slow 5400rpm hard drive is the only component holding the performance of this PC back. The rest have reasonable scores. Pros: Excellent build quality (Its a VAIO), classy design, excellent keyboard and trackpad (the trackpad has nice clickable buttons with a 'cliky' feel), full HD 1080p screen, Plays mainstream games comfortably at 1080p like COD4 MW, COD WaW, even Crisis at medium/low settings, 64 bit OS, has a separate Memory Stick/Duo card slot in addition to the SD card slot, 1 year VAIO international warranty, expresscard slot for future usb 3.0 upgrade, even with the core i3 its VERY fast (I wonder what the i5 and i7 are like!!) Cons: Low battery life (about 2.5 hrs), all 3 USB ports on same side (though the eSATA port is an eSATA/USB combo and does also double up as a USB port), no bluray drive at this price, Body is a fingerprint magnet, no media buttons like Play, Stop, etc. for Windows Media Player, No button available just to turn the screen off, LOADED with bloatware!!, VERY underpowered speakers, Watching movies is not that clear (the colour reproduction isn't that good for movies but for gaming its really good, I wonder why ...

Knock Off Device Label USB Drive Ravage (8GB) Review
Knock off that is not a direct copy always fascinates me, as it seems to completely go against the "quick buck" mentality that creates Knock offs in the first place. This is a purchase basically out of curiosity, and I'm tempted to get the official one thanks to this. Up close this looks nothing like the official Ravage, and it's a good thing. I can see this as a completely different character. As rumor about virus in these KO pen drive is everywhere, do be on your guard when first using them. Mine seems to escape this but that's no guarantee the next one is safe too.
